Types of visits at our Cedar Park clinic
Well-child checkups
Checkups follow the American Academy of Pediatrics schedule: a newborn visit in the first week, then visits at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 and 24 months, at 30 months, and once a year from age 3. Each covers growth, development, vaccines and the screenings due at that age. What happens at a well-child visit.
Same-day sick visits
Fevers, ear pain, sore throats, rashes, coughs and minor injuries. Call (512) 931-1575 when we open at 8:30 AM; we keep same-day appointments for sick children. We don't take walk-ins. How same-day visits work.
Vaccines
Routine childhood and adolescent vaccines on the AAP/CDC schedule, including the vaccines Texas schools require. Vaccination clinic.
School and sports physicals
Most Cedar Park students attend Leander ISD schools, with some neighborhoods in Round Rock ISD. Bring the school, camp or UIL sports physical form to the visit and we'll complete it. A sports physical can be done at the same time as the yearly checkup.

Sleep consultations
Because Dr. Patel is also board-certified in sleep medicine, the clinic evaluates children's sleep problems and adult sleep disorders, including sleep studies.
